1STYRDIARIES

I am such a great amount enthused to have you here once more. I realize it's been some time. However, I guarantee we'd get all the fun we missed during our brief break. What's more, before we completely resume next week God willing, I would need to do something out of the norm. In this manner, share with you my life as a fresher.

Life as a fresher was fun with such a great amount of anxiety too. I trust you appreciate the humour that accompanies it. How about we get straight into it?

*That moment I missed a class as a punctual student as I am. That day, attendance was taken and a test written. Thank God I didn't trail that course. I realised I wasn't lucky with things as such so, I learnt my lessons from that.

*That day I left campus around 1am and had to walk to my hostel all alone. The terror that engulfed me alone nearly turned me into a ghost. Never did I do that again.

*That moment I cried in advance for a paper I thought I would trail. It came and I had gently passed. We most times worry about things we shouldn't worry about.

*That day a guy met me in the morning and fell in love with me in the evening. I guess that was love at first sight or second? Well, keep your answer.  Anyways, a one-sided love off course. Silly! Please don't come after me, I'm done with this.

*That time I had to eat gari and biscuit at midnight after long hours of studying just because I didn't have any alternative. So sad!

*That annoying but interesting moment where one roommate of mine could ask severally which dress to wear. As we suggest, she refutes. oh, Girls! I know.

*That day when my big bro sent my roommates and I for an outing and the strange thing happened. She screamed as the elevator shook. Lol. It was never a dull moment with them

*The moment when I could take the lead to class supposing my friends delay. I was that serious and still, I am. Yes, allow me to brag small. I'm the boss at the moment. I beg, Just kidding.

*The moment I couldn't miss a day without gari and beans (queen's g)b3)...lmao
I didn't want to become extremely fat so I stopped. You know i'm fat already. Is this one the truth? Well.

*That moment I was given a task to perform at one rehearsal and  I dressed like someone going for a wedding ceremony. My heart. It was cool but, my friends wouldn't stop laughing at me

*I remember when I was scared to enter my room. You know why? I had to meet my new roomies who were all continuing students. I thought University was like high school

*Those times, I always held my hair with a fashionable ribbon or band. I thought I was a doll.
Probably I was one. Lol

I just didn't want to be selfish as I reminisce about such memories and laugh at them all alone. Pardon me to reserve the rest of the memories so that, you will not be the one to tell my kids about them in future. Or even if you do, so I could still get some to share with them. Lmao. I hope I was able to put a smile on your face even if you didn't laugh.

Did you enjoy it? If yes, Kindly leave a comment.
Till next week God willing it's a bye.

WELCOME TO RUTHIE'S PARLOUR LOVELY ONE. This is a write-up suggested by a friend, Modester Agyei Sarhene to all my readers. It is my greatest desire to have you impacted by this as we continue to learn and unlearn. Enjoy this one. The entryway chime crashed from the opposite side of the room.  'Alexandra, would you please take care of the individual at the door please?' Mummy who was hectically setting the table inquired.  'Alright mummy' Alexandra retorted.                                         [At the entryway ] Man: Good evening woman, I am the postal worker and I have a few letters for you.  Alexandra: Thank you, Mister.  Man: You're welcome   Alexandra: Henry! there is a mail for you.
