THE CHRISTIAN AND PARTYING

WARM GREETINGS FROM ME TO YOU!

It is mind-blowing having you read my write-up again. If you are new here, I'm glad to count you as my reader. I hope you enjoy this one.

One blistering evening, as I was battling with my telephone, a text rolled in from a companion asking me to assist her with certain inquiry. Since I had nothing significant doing at that moment, I gave her a thumbs up whereupon she asked " Can a Christian party?" I was such a great amount baffled with the inquiry she posed as I swiftly attempted to send her a much-persuading reaction. Should she be just the one to know my musings on such a question? No! please, I surmise we as a whole appear it fit to know too. 

How at all do you understand the term, "Christian"? It means, "of the gathering of Christ" or a "follower of Christ" Acts 11:26. The Disciples were first called Christians at Antioch. Why? since they supposedly acted like Christ. In case you're an adherent of Christ meaning you grasp his ways and you do the things acknowledged by him. 

Partying to my understanding is, having a ton of fun. There are various ways an individual can have a fabulous time. For instance, going out swimming, dancing and what have you. Partying in actual sense isn't bad, but partying amongst worldly folks is wrong. Someone can choose to have his party within his closet. Turn on some music, get himself some drink, and oh yeah! he is ready to party. I think you've got to try this. Well, that was just by the way.

Be that as it may, what do we find in our cutting edge world today? Party young men and young ladies do connect with themselves in stuff society and God opposes beginning from what they put on to the stuff they do when "partying" Dancing to the tunes of corrupt music, taking in alcoholic beverages, and a wide range of "senseless" stuff. I wouldn't denounce any person. However, a Christian must question him or herself that, would Christ be glad seeing him do the things the "supposed Christians" do or most likely unbelievers do? Assuming no, why proceed? 

A friend stated, "So it is not well for a Christian to be partying around. ''Around'' in the sense that, moving up and down making merry with people who's got nothing to do with Christ. But, one can have a small get together with his Christian folks at an appropriate place and that is okay. But going to where worldly people meet is wrong".

It is stated categorically in the bible that "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the ways of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful" ( Psalms 1: 1)

 If the place is not a gathering of Christian folks, why do you find yourself there?. Some might justify the fact that they would not partake in any devastating activity of the worldly folks and that one is okay. You justifying this doesn't make it right.

Many people would use vast philosophies to lure us into "partying" with worldly folks. But, it is Keen on us to be able to draw a thin line between evil and good if only our goal is to meet Christ in the long run as Christians.

If you somehow managed to be one of Christ's disciple at those occasions when he was on earth, would individuals say you're an adherent of Christ? In anything, let Christ who is the leader lead.

If we call ourselves "Christians" yet we were ignorant about a thing like this, it is my utmost desire that we'd come into a resolution of forsaking such an act so that we could live to please our maker and also a life that would draw people to Christ.
